About

Hello and welcome to my blog 🙂 I’m a freelance journalist and poet in the Netherlands, and a big fan of choral singing, in particular from English church choirs. Here I will share my reports from Evensong, concerts and so on, as well as examples of recordings I love.

I’m also a moderator at the Libera Dreams fan forum, dedicated to my favourite choir in the world 🙂 I sing bass in one of the choirs of my parish church where I am also a lector. Liturgy is another great passion of mine.  I love to read, take walks, take pictures and spend time with friends.

Enjoy your stay here and feel free to comment!

    Dear Friend,

I was so happy to stumble upon your wonderful web site during a Google search. I have only very recently become a fan of chant. Though I’ve been an amateur singer my whole life, it wasn’t until a friend sent me a link to the Ave Maria (plainchant) by Richard Clark that I got turned on to chant. I fell in love with it at first hearing and now can’t start the day without listening to it at least once (I’ve included a link to the American Boychoir Youtube recording below for you to enjoy).

Best wishes for your continued success and thanks for sharing your love of chant.

Sincerely, Rebecca Roberts, Boston, MA, USA
